Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Chocolate Swirl
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder Dutch-processed preferred
  • 1 cup chocolate chips dark or semi-sweet

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt, whisking until well blended.
  3. Cream the butter and sugars together in a separate mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture gradually. Stir until just combined.
  6. Divide the dough into two bowls. In one bowl, fold in cocoa powder.
  7. Scoop alternating spoonfuls of each dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Swirl a toothpick or knife through the scoops to create marble patterns.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set but centers remain soft.
