Ingredients
  

Mousse Base
  • 2 medium ripe avocados peeled and pitted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar substitute such as erythritol or stevia
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or any low-calorie milk alternative
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream sugar-free
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate shavings sugar-free

Method
 

Prepare the Mousse
  1. In a blender, combine the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, sugar substitute, vanilla extract, and almond milk.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  4. Spoon the mousse into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serve
  1. Top each mousse with a dollop of sugar-free whipped cream and sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings.
  2. Serve chilled and enjoy!
