Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Milk Can substitute with almond milk for dairy-free
  • 2 large Eggs Can substitute with flax eggs for vegan
  • 1/4 cup Butter Melted; can substitute with coconut oil
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon Adjust based on spice preference

Method
 

Making the Donuts
  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well blended.
  2. Whisk the wet ingredients in a separate bowl: eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine the wet and dry mixtures gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Preheat your fryer or oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Spoon dollops of batter into the hot oil, frying them in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove the donuts from the oil using a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels.
  7. Coat each warm donut generously in sugar to create a sweet crust.
