Ingredients
  

For the Margarita
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup tequila preferably silver
  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice crushed or cubed
  • 1 slice lime for garnish
  • 1 slice strawberry for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Margarita
  1. In a blender, combine fresh strawberries, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, simple syrup, and ice.
  2. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more simple syrup.
  4. Pour the mixture into salt-rimmed glasses if desired.
  5. Garnish with a lime slice and a strawberry slice.
