  • 1/2 cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and honey until well combined.
  2. Add minced garlic, black pepper, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the mixture and whisk until fully incorporated.
Marinate the Steak
  1. Place the steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the steak is well coated.
  2. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours for more flavor.
