Ingredients
  

Beef & Broccoli Ingredients
  • 2 lb beef sliced very thin
  • 4 cup broccoli cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 5 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tsp corn starch
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a bowl combine pressed garlic, hot water, soy sauce, brown sugar, corn starch, and sesame oil. Whisk to combine and set aside.
  2. On medium heat, preheat a skillet with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add sliced broccoli, cook until it softens. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Slice beef into long, thin strips. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the same skillet where you cooked the broccoli. Add beef and cook until it gets golden brown.
  4. Pour sauce over the beef, bring the sauce to a light simmer.
  5. Add broccoli back to the skillet. Stir to combine everything together, cook for about 3 minutes.
  6. Serve beef & broccoli while it’s still hot.
