Cooking Steps
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Defrost broccoli using a steamer basket or in the microwave. Once defrosted, chop the broccoli into small florets.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and season with salt and black pepper. Break up the beef using a wooden spatula and cook until no longer pink (about 4 minutes). Drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and sriracha.
- In the same pan, reduce heat to low and add the sauce. Once bubbling, whisk in cornstarch while continuing to whisk to prevent clumps.
- Add cooked ground beef and defrosted broccoli back into the pan. Stir to combine and cook for about 5 minutes to heat the broccoli.
- Serve over rice and top with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
