Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt plain, unsweetened
  • 1 cup milk any type (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup protein powder vanilla or chocolate flavor
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Mix-ins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts
  • 1/2 cup fruit e.g., berries or banana slices

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, milk, protein powder, honey, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
Chill the Mixture
  1. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill.
Churn the Ice Cream
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Add Mix-ins
  1. If using, fold in chocolate chips or fruit during the last few minutes of churning.
Freeze
  1. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 3 hours to firm up.
Serve
