Ingredients
  

Eggs
  • 4 large eggs soft-boiled
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce preferably low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon green onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Eggs
  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and boil for 6-7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs.
  2. Once cooked, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to stop cooking. Let them cool for a few minutes.
Make the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, sesame oil, sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and chopped green onion.
Marinate the Eggs
  1. Peel the cooled eggs and place them in a jar. Pour the marinade over the eggs, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  2. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for best flavor.
Serve
  1. Remove the eggs from the marinade and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
