Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 2 medium jalapeños sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, mix together sour cream, shredded cheese, sliced jalapeños, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Once the chicken is cooked, reduce heat to low and spread the sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  3. Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional jalapeños if desired.
