Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
For the Filling
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup Irish stout or lager or any dark beer
For Garnish
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives or green onions

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the cheese and beer in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Roll out your dough on a floured surface until it's about ¼ inch thick.
  5. Cut the dough into squares or circles, about 3 inches wide.
  6. Fill each piece of dough with a spoonful of the cheese mixture, then fold over and seal the edges well.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
