Ingredients
  

Dressing Base
  • 1 cup olive oil extra virgin preferred
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional for sweetness
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Mixing the Dressing
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and honey. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Whisk again until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Transfer the dressing to a jar with a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
