Ingredients
  

For the Bagel Dough
  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour Packed with fiber.
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Provides protein and moisture.
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder Helps bagels rise.
  • 1 cup Blueberries Fresh or frozen.
  • 2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup For sweetness.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Oats For added crunch.
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt Enhances flavor.

Method
 

Making the Bagels
  1. Mix warm water, yeast, and a pinch of sugar in a bowl. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, protein powder, and salt.
  3. Pour the frothy yeast mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a rough dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for 60-90 minutes.
  6. Punch down the dough, divide into equal pieces, and shape into bagels.
  7. Boil each bagel in a pot of water for about 1 minute on each side.
  8. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  9. Transfer boiled bagels to the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let the bagels cool on a wire rack before serving.
