Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes until they are browned.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Cooking
  1. Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sauté the green beans with the mushrooms for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beans are tender but still crisp.
  3. Remove from heat and serve warm.
