Ingredients
  

Potatoes
  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes peeled and cubed
Garlic
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
Butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
Milk
  • 1/2 cup whole milk warmed
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare Potatoes
  1. Place the cubed potatoes in a pot and cover with cold water.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat and then reduce to a simmer.
  3. Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Mash Potatoes
  1. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  2. Add the minced garlic, melted butter, and warmed milk.
  3. Mash until smooth and creamy.
Season and Serve
  1. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Serve warm as a side dish with chicken.
