Ingredients

For the Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour perfect for creating a tender and flaky base
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar adds a hint of sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon salt enhances all flavors
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder helps the dough rise
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter provides richness and moisture
  • 1/2 cup milk adds creaminess
For the Filling
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries burst with tart flavor
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar infuses warmth and depth
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon adds a cozy spice
Optional Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for sweetness and a glossy finish
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract elevates the flavor profile
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream to achieve desired consistency

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather ingredients. Start by collecting all your ingredients, including fresh cranberries, cream cheese, and the perfect wrap.
  2. Prepare the cranberries. In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the cranberries with a bit of sugar until they burst and soften, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mix the filling. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with some of your cooked cranberry mixture. Stir until creamy and smooth.
  4. Spread evenly. Take your wrap of choice and spread a generous layer of the cranberry-cream cheese mixture across it, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Roll tightly. Gently but firmly roll up the wrap, starting from one end to the other.
  6. Chill before slicing. Wrap the rolled-up wraps in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Slice into rounds. Once chilled, remove from the fridge and slice your rolls into bite-sized pieces—about an inch thick.
