  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  2. Place your choice of protein or vegetables in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour the marinade over the protein or vegetables, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best flavor.
