Ingredients
  

For the Pickling Brine
  • 1 cup Water use filtered water for the best flavor
  • 1 cup Rice Vinegar can substitute with apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt kosher salt works great
For the Radishes
  • 1 bunch Radishes fresh, crunchy radishes
  • 2 cloves Garlic Cloves sliced or whole
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional for heat

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice your fresh radishes thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together vinegar, water, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
  3. Place the sliced radishes into a clean glass jar, layering them neatly.
  4. Carefully pour the prepared brine over the radishes, making sure they’re fully submerged.
  5. Tightly seal the jar and place it in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
