Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 1 lb ground beef can substitute with turkey
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles uncooked
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the meat is no longer pink.
  3. Drain excess fat, then stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the uncooked egg noodles and frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet, mixing well to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
