Ingredients
  

Cookies
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 cups shredded coconut sweetened
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs for decoration

Method
 

Prepare the Cookie Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and shredded coconut.
Shape and Bake
  1. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Use your fingers to create a slight indentation in the center of each cookie to form a nest shape.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  5. Once cooled, fill the nests with mini chocolate eggs.
