Ingredients
  

Cake Batter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk or almond milk for a dairy-free option
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Frosting
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • green food coloring for dinosaur color
Decorations
  • 1 pack dinosaur cake toppers
  • 1 cup candy rocks for decoration

Method
 

Prepare the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour the cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
Make the Frosting
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add green food coloring until desired color is achieved.
Decorate the Cake
  1. Spread the green frosting evenly over the cooled cake.
  2. Place dinosaur cake toppers on top and sprinkle candy rocks around for decoration.
