Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a loaf pan to prevent sticking.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Add apple cider and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the loaf is baking, mix the cinnamon sugar crust ingredients in a small bowl.
- Once baked, remove the loaf from the oven, brush it with melted butter, and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top.
Cooling
- Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
