Ingredients
  

Chai Mixture
  • 1 cup cooled freshly-brewed chai tea
  • ¼ cup organic pumpkin puree
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Coffee Base
  • 2 shots freshly-brewed espresso or coffee, cooled
  • 1-2 ounces vanilla syrup
  • ½-¾ cup almond milk, unsweetened
  • ½ cup pumpkin chai creamer
  • crushed ice
  • whipped cream

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan on medium-high heat, add 1 cup of your favorite milk and bring to a boil for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 3 chai tea bags and let it boil for another 1-2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let everything steep for 5-6 minutes.
  4. Once fully steeped, remove tea bags and let it cool completely.
  5. Add the cooled chai tea, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice into a high-powered blender and blend until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
  6. In a tall coffee glass, add crushed ice followed by the almond milk, pumpkin chai creamer, cooled brewed espresso, and vanilla syrup, stirring together until combined.
  7. Top with a spoonful or two of whipped cream and sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice if desired.
