Ingredients
  

Bread and Filling
  • 8 slices soft white bread
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 3 slices Jones Canadian Bacon, diced

Method
 

Making Pizza Pockets
  1. Remove crusts from each slice of bread. Use your thumb to create an indent in the center, leaving a slight border around the edges.
  2. Whisk egg with 1 teaspoon water. Gently brush egg wash around edges of bread.
  3. Place 1/2 tablespoon pizza sauce in the center of each slice. Top with 1 tablespoon mozzarella and 1 teaspoon Canadian Bacon.
  4. Fold in half and press to seal edges. Use a fork to crimp edges. Brush tops of each pizza pocket with egg wash.
  5. Cook in an air fryer at 350°F for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve alongside additional pizza sauce for dipping.
