Preparation
- Mix all the Bang Bang Sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F/230 degrees C. Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or greased foil.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, chili paste, cornstarch, almond milk, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, sea salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
- In a separate bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
Coating & Baking
- Toss the cauliflower in the batter mixture to coat it evenly.
- Transfer the coated cauliflower to the panko breadcrumbs and coat completely.
- Place the coated cauliflower onto the baking sheet, ensuring enough space between each floret.
- Bake for 22 minutes.
- Remove from oven and toss the baked cauliflower in the Bang Bang Sauce to coat.
- Return the sauced cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for another 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from oven, top with sesame seeds, and eat immediately.
