Creamy Steak Pasta

Ingredients
  

Steak and Pasta
  • 2 strip steaks strip steaks
  • 1 TBSP steak seasoning
  • 16 oz rigatoni pasta
Sauce
  • 2 TBSP olive oil
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 2 TBSP minced garlic
  • 1 TBSP flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/3 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Season steak with steak seasoning. Start boiling a pot of water for the pasta.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter on medium high heat. Cook steak about 5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Take the steak out of the skillet and put aside.
  3. Add pasta to the pot of boiling water and cook according to directions on the box.
  4. Remove all but about 2 tbsp of the butter/drippings from the pan. Add 1 tbsp of flour. Stir well and let cook for at least a minute.
  5. Add garlic and chicken broth to the skillet. Lower heat and add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Add the red pepper flakes, oregano, thyme, and sun-dried tomatoes.
  6. Continue cooking and stirring until desired thickness. Once the pasta is ready, add it to the skillet of sauce. Slice up steaks and add to the pasta. Top with more Parmesan cheese.
