Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the pan. Brown the beef, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked and no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, tossing to combine. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage has softened slightly.
- Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir everything together until the cheese melts into a creamy sauce and everything is well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish, spreading it into an even layer.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Let the casserole cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
