  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 tbsp granulated sugar or vanilla syrup
  • 1 square graham cracker

  • 1 tsp milk of choice for softening marshmallow cream
  • as needed aerosol whipped cream for topping
  • 1 to 2 tsp crushed graham crackers for topping

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Microwave
  • Tall glass or cup
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method

  1. Prepare your coffee or espresso and chill before adding to the blender and other ingredients.
  2. In a small microwave safe bowl, add 3 tablespoons of the marshmallow cream with milk. Turn on medium power for 5 seconds. Take out and stir to soften up the marshmallow cream.
  3. Spread the softened marshmallow cream in the bottom of a tall cup or glass. You can bring it up the sides just a little if you want.
  4. Drizzle the chocolate syrup on top of the marshmallow cream and some on the sides of the cup. Set aside for just a minute.
  5. Blend the rest of the ingredients, which includes the chilled coffee, but not the whipped cream or graham cracker crumbs.
  6. Blend on medium to high just until you see that everything is combined and frothy. If you want a thicker frappe, you can add in more ice or vanilla ice cream.
  7. Pour the mixture into the cup, swirl on whipped cream, and top with a sprinkling of crushed graham crackers. Put a straw in and sip away!
