Ingredients
  

Cookie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling
  • 4 Cadbury Creme Eggs Cadbury Creme Eggs cut in half
Topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips for drizzling

Method
 

Prepare the Cookie Base
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Spread half of the cookie dough into the prepared baking pan.
Add the Filling
  1. Place the halved Cadbury Creme Eggs on top of the cookie dough in the pan.
  2. Spread the remaining cookie dough over the Cadbury Creme Eggs, ensuring they are covered.
Bake and Finish
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled cookie bars before slicing.

Notes
