Ingredients
  

  • 1 10-ounce tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 12 ounces ground breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough onto the parchment paper and press into a rectangle.
  3. Sprinkle the cooked breakfast sausage down the center of the rectangle.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, black pepper, and red bell pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into a hot skillet, scrambling until cooked.
  6. Sprinkle the scrambled eggs over the sausage.
  7. Next, sprinkle the cheese over the eggs.
  8. Use a pizza cutter to cut each side of the breakfast braid into 12-15 strips.
  9. Fold the strips of dough over the filling, alternating sides.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  11. Brush with melted butter and serve warm.
