  • 4 ears corn on the cob Husked and cleaned
  • 1 tablespoon salt Optional, for seasoning the water

Method
 

Boiling the Corn
  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, add salt to the water if desired.
  3. Carefully add the husked corn to the boiling water.
  4. Boil the corn for 7-10 minutes, until tender.
  5. Remove the corn from the pot using tongs and let it drain in a colander.
  6. Serve hot with butter and seasoning of choice.
