Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 pounds pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the dry rub ingredients and rub it all over the ribs.
Cook the Ribs
  1. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
  2. Cook for about 2.5 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature.
  3. After 2.5 hours, unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce.
  4. Grill for an additional 30 minutes, basting with more sauce every 10 minutes.
Serve
  1. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  2. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes
