  • 3 cups all-purpose flour can substitute with gluten-free blend
  • 1.5 cups ripe bananas use overripe for sweetness
  • 1 cup sugar brown sugar preferred
  • 2 teaspoons yeast ensure it's fresh
  • 1 cup milk can use almond or oat milk
  • 2 large eggs can replace with flax egg for vegan
  • 1/2 cup butter melted butter can be used
For the Filling
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar mix in cinnamon for extra flavor
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon adjust to taste
  • 1 cup chopped nuts optional, walnuts or pecans
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese ensure it's softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar adjust for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract use pure for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream add gradually for consistency

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients, including eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter, with the mashed bananas.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients separately: flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to your wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle approximately 12x18 inches.
  6. Spread softened butter generously over the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle a mix of brown sugar and cinnamon evenly across the surface.
