- 1/2 cup whole milk

Instructions
- Separate the egg yolks and whites into two bowls.
- In the yolk bowl, mix in milk and vanilla extract; sift in flour and baking powder until smooth.
- In the egg white bowl, whip the whites until soft peaks form; gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold one-third of the egg whites into the yolk mixture, then carefully fold in remaining whites.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over low heat and grease with butter. Scoop about half a cup of batter per pancake onto the skillet; cover and cook for 4 minutes until bubbles appear on top.
- Flip pancakes gently with two spatulas and cook for another 3 minutes until puffed up.
