  • 1 cup flavored gelatin powder (any fruity flavor)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Small plastic cups

Instructions

  1. Cut the watermelon in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh, leaving about half an inch of rind.
  2. In a mixing bowl, dissolve the gelatin powder in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Add 1 cup of cold water to the mixture and stir well.
  4. Mix half of the scooped watermelon flesh into the gelatin mixture.
  5. Pour the jello mixture into the hollowed-out watermelon halves and fill small plastic cups with any remaining mixture.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set, then slice into wedges or serve directly from cups.
