- 2 cups hot water
- 1–2 tbsp honey (optional)
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
- Rinse the fresh lemon balm leaves under cold water.
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Place the rinsed lemon balm leaves in a teapot and pour boiling water over them. Steep for 5 minutes.
- If desired, stir in honey while the tea is warm.
- Add fresh lemon slices for extra flavor.
- Strain out the leaves if preferred and serve hot or over ice.
