Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 fresh jalapeños, halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and cheddar until smooth. Fill each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture.
  3. Set up a dredging station: one plate with flour, one bowl with beaten eggs, and another plate filled with panko breadcrumbs. Coat each stuffed jalapeño first in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with panko.
  4. Place coated jalapeños on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving with ranch dressing or guacamole.
