Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil. Add the flank steak strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Slice green onions and chop cilantro.
  3. Lay a marinated beef strip flat on a surface. Top with green onions and cilantro, then roll tightly like a burrito.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat with oil. Place rolls seam-side down and cook until browned on all sides (about 2-3 minutes per side).
  5. Whisk together rice vinegar and any remaining marinade (ensure it’s cooked). Drizzle over rolls during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Plate your Taiwanese Beef Rolls and garnish as desired.
