Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup shortcake cookies, crushed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Wash, hull, and chop the strawberries into small pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a lined 9×9 inch baking dish, spread half of the whipped mixture evenly across the bottom. Sprinkle half of the strawberries over it.
- Add a layer of crushed shortcake cookies on top of the strawberries. Pour remaining whipped mixture over it and add another layer of strawberries.
- Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and freeze for at least four hours or until solid.
- Once frozen solid, cut into bars and serve immediately.
