- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (for the crust)
- 1/2 tsp salt (for the crust)
- 1/4 cup cold water (for the crust)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix sliced peaches with sugar, flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
- For the crust, combine flour and salt in a bowl. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly. Gradually add cold water until dough forms.
- Roll out half of the dough for the bottom crust and place it in a pie dish.
- Pour peach mixture into the crust and dot with butter pieces. Roll out remaining dough for the top crust; place it over filling and seal edges. Cut slits to vent steam.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling before serving.
