- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions
- Peel and chop potatoes into chunks. Place in a pot, cover with cold water, add salt, and boil until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
- Drain and return potatoes to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mash until smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and optional bacon bits.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin and spoon the mixture into each cup, filling high for peaks.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Garnish with green onions before serving warm.
