  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, panko breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, and pineapple chunks until well mixed.
  3. Form the mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix teriyaki sauce and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drizzle with teriyaki sauce before serving hot.
