Description

Ground beef and potatoes create a heartwarming dish that combines savory flavors and comforting textures. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings, ensuring everyone leaves the table satisfied.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 3 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by dicing the onion, mincing the garlic, and chopping the potatoes into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, approximately 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in cubed potatoes and enough beef broth to cover them halfway. Mix well.
  5. Cover the skillet and let simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
