- 4–6 tbsp ice water
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter cubes and blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough comes together. Shape into a disc, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the chilled dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface. Transfer it to the baking sheet.
- Arrange peach slices in the center, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold the edges over the peaches.
- Brush exposed dough with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
