- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl; gradually add to the butter mixture until fully incorporated.
- Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Toss fresh cherries with sliced almonds in a separate bowl and spread them over the crust.
