- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup sour cream

Instructions
- Peel and slice the Russet potatoes into thick slices.
- In a large bowl, combine 1.5 cups of cheddar cheese, sour cream, melted butter, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix well.
