- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 8 oz beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup bok choy, chopped
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients by slicing the beef and vegetables.
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil and stir-fry the beef until browned (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add remaining oil and sauté garlic for about 30 seconds before adding vegetables. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Return beef to the skillet along with the cooked noodles. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce mixture with cornstarch. Stir until evenly coated and heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
