Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs baby back pork ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
  2. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs for tenderness.
  3. In a bowl, mix apple cider vinegar with brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper to create a marinade.
  4. Coat both sides of the ribs generously with the marinade and let them sit for about an hour at room temperature or refrigerate overnight.
  5. Place marinated ribs on the grill bone side down and cook slowly for about two hours, flipping occasionally.
  6. Brush barbecue sauce onto the ribs during the last half-hour of grilling and close the lid to allow it to caramelize.
