Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, melt the butter, then stir in sugar and cocoa powder. Mix in the eggs and vanilla until smooth. Fold in flour until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with confectioners' sugar and one egg until creamy.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan, dollop cheesecake mixture on top, then add remaining brownie batter and swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
