- 4 strips bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions
- 1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove it and drain on paper towels, leaving about 2 tbsp of drippings in the skillet.
- 2. Sauté the chopped onion in the skillet until translucent (about 5 minutes).
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained beans, chopped bacon, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- 4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes until bubbly.
